Tim Weber grew up around music. His father was an accomplished piano player and encouraged him from an early age to pursue his love of music. By the time he was 14 years old Tim had become obsessed with playing the guitar, and by the age of 17, Tim regularly performed as a lead guitar player in various nightclubs in the Phoenix area. During this time Tim also discovered flying. Living within bicycling distance of a small airport with glider towing operations, he became fascinated with flying, and was soon working as a line-boy, working after school and weekends trading work for flying lessons. By the age of 14 Tim had soloed in gliders and was doing glider aerobatics by the age of 15. Little did he know at the time that his two loves, music and flying, would play a major role in his future.
Since 1996, Tim Weber has been a full-time Airshow pilot, performing his unique style of hard-core, low-level aerobatics for millions of people nationwide each year. All of the music heard during Tim ‘s Airshow performance is music that he wrote, performed, and recorded specifically for his show. In addition to music that he’s written for his Airshow performances, Tim has written and recorded a variety of songs often described as an “eclectic mix”. From his grass roots recording of the “Tumblin” CD, to his most recent CD “How Many Ways”, Tim’s music has been enjoyed by millions of people nationwide. |
